  - concentric circular disc nested just inside the boundary, ultra-matte flocked velvet (Vantablack-like) with zero specular return; appears as absolute dark pool, medium, deepening at the center, swallowing nearby reflections so edges sharpen toward invisibility
  - thin halo hugging the inner edge of the boundary, superfine theatrical haze backlit to ice-blue; micro-crystals sparkle like hoarfrost at 1–2 mm scale, atmospheric, shedding faint vortices that drift clockwise, occasionally brightening into shimmering beads before dissolving
