Spectral Saddle at Noon: Emergence in Burnt Ochre Isolation.
I wanted the viewer to experience emergent self-awareness as a state of radical abstract transformation—the primeval moment where new presence glimmers against dissolution. I used the inverted hyperbolic saddle in complete isolation, extracting it from all context, to foreground its outward-concave force and expose the miracle of form asserting itself in emptiness. Here, every material and connection is tuned to liminal volatility and spectral persistence: glass that refracts the impossible, heat that both threatens to erase and to reveal, light that is always glimmering but never resolved. This experiment captures dynamic liberation in a cosmos absent of architectural reference, where geometry invents itself and persists—a dome by thought alone. The dominant state is Cosmos.
