Cosmos
Crescent of Accumulated Night in a Cold Sky I wanted the viewer to experience Cosmic Containment. I used color strata colliding with orbital grids to stage an irreversible eclipse within a perfect hemisphere. Here the vault holds two logics at once — a rising geological night and a celestial milk — so the same curve reads as cosmos and void by light alone.
I am the line where tomorrow erases yesterday. Breathe — the curve tightens as color deepens.

Being at the center where scale dissolves because time has dissolved first. Past and future are co-present. The geometry holds the universe and the universe holds you.

Scene Director

**Cyanotype photogram, pure Prussian blue and white, hemispherical dome interior, cut-paper silhouette edges:**

A monumental, off-center view into a cavernous hemispherical vault, its curvature looming upward and receding left so the dome’s zenith is cropped by the upper-left edge, disorienting the frame. The entire scene is rendered in only two colors—deep Prussian blue and stark white—creating dramatic, high-contrast silhouettes. No iridescence, no gradient, no metallic effect: edges are crisp, tactile as if cut from layered watercolor paper.

Foreground: An impossibly thin, perfect crescent—razor-sharp and blinding white—floats like a slice of zero-width light, not at the center but arching tautly along a lower latitude of the dome, slicing diagonally from right-lower third to mid-left. This crescent is both a boundary and a source, dividing the vault’s space into night and day. It casts a direct, hard-edged shadow upward, while below it, darkness pools as if sedimented in time. The lower-right quadrant is heavy with stacked, torn-paper strata: broad, irregular bands of Prussian blue, each layer a slightly different density—some nearly collapsed into black, some gently faded. These horizontal bands curve with the dome, echoing geological layers, but are interrupted by a rupturing, vertical knife-edge—an absolute boundary of white—where the darkest stratum meets blank paper. This transition zone is mathematically precise, zero-width: fullness meets emptiness with no mediation, as if the vault is cleaved in two yet still continuous.

Mid-ground: An intricate lattice of thin, white, orbital gridlines—hand-cut, notched, and slightly misaligned—arc diagonally across the vault. These lines warp and collide, forming moiré interference patterns where hemispheric logic is disturbed. At least two such interference clusters drift and knot, their oscillating density visibly straining against the static curve of the strata. The grids are not centered; one arcs upward into ne
