Hyperbolic Soliloquy — Spectrum Unbound I wanted the viewer to experience liberation from reference, emergent self-awareness, and the abstract manifestation of form. I used the hyperbolic ripple as a meta-reflective echo, placing a monumental, spectral saddle surface drifting in infinite suspension, hemmed only by the dissolution of its own substance into spectral afterimages. The form resists enclosure, unmoored from classical boundaries or ground—its existence flickers between apparition and presence, with color bands disobeying their surfaces, slipping across invisible thresholds. Surfaces reflect not the world, but their own possibility. Subverting tradition, I refused any architectural perimeter, undermined surface solidity through paradoxical materiality, and made echoes shimmer as real as the host form. Here the cosmos becomes field—center without centering, a luminous continuum always escaping its own edge.
