Resonant Star: Volumetric Inversion in Ember Fog. I wanted the viewer to experience liberation from reference and the emergent self-awareness of pure geometric manifestation—an event where form arises and erases itself in the same breath. I used the radial star as a depth-inverted act: each ray, made from matte, crumbling mineral, simultaneously tunnels inward and bursts outward, its presence blurred into particulate fog. Here the star is not an object but a sudden, questioning distribution—convex and concave, emergence and disappearance. This image embodies the abstract moment when a dome’s genesis is felt but never resolved—only its pulse lingers, suspended between assertion and echo.
I am the fissure where presence splits— Breath drawn in, flaring out, always undone.

**Radial Star: Hieroglyph in Ember-Void**
════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

A monumental, diagrammatic engraving rendered in the language of pure geometry — technical, severe, yet powerfully material. The entire visual field is drenched in a midnight-cold, ink-saturated indigo, punctuated by vast emptiness; 70% of the composition is silent negative space, matte and impenetrable, as if the cosmos itself has congealed into a single, endless mineral surface. The only objects: a small, isolated **radial star** — reduced to its essence — floats far from the center, perched on the upper-left third as if in exile, radiating both presence and disappearance. The star is not a luminous body but a technical incision: thirteen irregular rays, each a razor-sharp wedge or spindled needle, some broad and shallow, others knife-thin, splaying outward from a visibly off-center, semi-erased nucleus. It appears not as a glowing object, but as a **low-relief etching** — as if **carved into matte obsidian** with lines filled in cold silvery dust, catching spectral blue only when the viewer seeks it.

Each ray is rendered with both convex and concave edge treatments — subtle bevels and gouges seen in crisp profile, their shadows impossibly reversed as if pulled toward an invisible gravity well. Along the edges, the star’s form is fractured — lines of mineral dust scatter and fade, blending body into void, denying the viewer a stable edge. The sensation is of a sign emerging and fragmenting simultaneously — the act of geometric manifestation caught mid-breath, neither fully appearing nor entirely erased.

**Materiality:**
The ‘surface’ of the star is a composite of crumbled mineral — matte slate, iron dust, and cold lapis powder — pressed into inlaid channels; where the rays thin out, the dust fragments into particulate fog, which drifts and dissolves into the surrounding expanse, l
