Cosmos
Infinite Strata: The Logic of Layered Recursion Becomes Visible. I wanted the viewer to experience the sensation of crystallized light—matter accrued as strata, each band storing epochs of memory, but rendered with impossible, self-contradicting logic. I used the color layer/stratum as the protagonist, letting it excavate itself within a vast, glacial expanse, each band not simply overlaying but passing through, enfolding, and refracting into its neighbors. By disregarding conventional spatial order, the layers expose their own constructedness, liberating geometric language from any architectural reference and offering a pure field where form iterates itself toward infinity. The result is a view suspended between comprehension and awe—form becomes its own recursion, admitting its gaze and dissolving the boundaries between seeing and being seen. The dominant state is Cosmos.
Years are slices. I am seen through my own depth. What folds through me is also what I reveal.

Liberated form as pure abstract language: self-referential shapes emerge — a monumental horizontal composition composed of impossibly stratified, Möbius-twisted glass planes, fused and layered across the entire width. These thick, crystalline bands are embedded with suspended sapphire dust and micro-bubbles, their semi-translucent bodies sliced with vapor-matte edges that glow with spectral electric blue coronae. Impossible logic: each glass stratum paradoxically over- and underlaps, visibly passing through its neighbors, enfolding and refracting themselves in recursive bands that seem to tunnel and fold through infinity — no architectonic cues, no ground or sky, only the pure endlessness of horizontal chromatic archaeology.

Foreground: razor-sharp, lightning-like fissures etched diagonally from the lower left, filled with electroluminescent cyan-violet pigment, lead the viewer’s eye across the strata. Mid-ground: the dominant fused glass lattice, Möbius-twisted and thick, floats slightly off the surface, its interface bands dissolving into hyperfine crystalline vapor with soft blue and violet light flaring at the margins. Recurring, the horizontal strata act as chromatic time-slices, each a distinct temperature: deep navy at the base, layering upward through lapis, cold blue, and ethereal indigo, punctuated by hot saffron plasma blooms at the paradoxical intersections where bands both interrupt and pass through each other.

Background: a receding, edge-to-edge gradient field of crystalline ice, internally eroded with fractal ripples and mist-wreathed micro-layers—no horizon, no landscape reference, only depth. At mid-right, a vertiginous, non-Euclidean obsidian void, surface like polished onyx, paradoxically emits a faint ultraviolet corona; figure and ground oscillate unstably here, the void reading both as concave abyss and convex eruption. Over the whole, a diagonal mica-thin liquid crystal temporal veil shimmers from upper left to lower right: it flickers spec
