Cosmos: A Cold Beam Breaks the Vault
I wanted the viewer to experience Cosmos at the instant between wholeness and rupture. I placed a flawless hemispherical void that mirrors itself, then froze a cold white beam puncturing the apex so fractures bloom like constellations while fragments hang. Here the vault’s neutral curvature becomes a sky and an instrument: reflection, impact, and scale carry the startle of shattering and the calm of geometry.
